Dear friends,
As you know, I'm heading to World Youth Day on Sunday. I am so excited to share this time with my little sister (read more about that here in the August issue of St. Anthony Messenger; we're #3 in the World Youth Day section), new friends from my Diocese, a dynamic priest, and other Young Adult Catholics from around the globe.
What you don't know is that I'll be missing you, my dear online friends, terribly. Whenever I walk into Young Adult Catholic events, I wish you were all there with me and wish our conversations didn't have to be virtual all the time. At World Youth Day, the largest Young Adult Catholic event, I know I'll feel the same way.
I invite you to leave prayer intentions with me. I will offer them up every day, and will keep you close to my heart while away from the online community, and thus you'll be involved with my experience there, too! Please feel free to leave your intentions in the comment box or to send them to me at notaminx (at) gmail.com.
Please pray for safe travels for all the pilgrims!
St. Raphael, patron saint of travelers, intercede for us!
Bl. Pier Giorgio Frassati and Bl. John Paul II, patrons of World Youth Day, pray for us!

Please pray for my 19 cousins and 5 siblings!
ReplyDeleteI hope you have a wonderful time! Please pray for my family as some big decisions are happening soon.
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to hear all about it!!
Please pray for my grandfather and for his health! If you happen to pass through a cathedral or church please light a candle (if you get a chance)!!
ReplyDeleteHi,
ReplyDeleteI'm a regular reader of your blog who is currently learning about Catholicism as a Protestant and I am trying to discern which path to take. I'd appreciate your prayers :)
