A week in review
Saturday: After spending most of the day addressing wedding invitations and stuffing envelopes (with a brief yoga break), Bryan and I went on a real, fancy date to a sushi restaurant in my town. We rarely go on *real* dates because we use our budget up just traveling to see each other, so this was a treat. Thanks, Groupon ;)
| P.S. I don't each sushi |
Sunday: We went to 11:45 am Mass with my mom, dad, and brother. Afterwards, we chowed down on a yummy breakfast casserole I made! As my fiance told me, "You're getting so domestic." Then he gave me a big ol' smooch.
Monday: It was my dear friend N.'s birthday, so after work I went to his house and had dinner and dessert with his family. This year, I wasn't sure what to give him, but then remembered when we're at the mall, we gobble down samples of Teavana tea. I think he enjoyed the big bag of blueberry tea I gave him!
Tuesday: After work, I went shopping for wedding shoes...but got distracted by things like this instead:
| Please show up in my closet. |
Thursday: My grandparents live around the corner, and I try to visit them every few day. We had a nice chat and they spoiled my family's dog with treats! Later that night, my dear friend E. (we've been friends since 2nd grade) and I held a gab session over the phone and shared a lot of laughs. Love her!
Friday: Tonight I'm going to Pizza Hut! Yesss! Stuffed crust!!! Don't judge me.
Have a great weekend!
P.S. I'm missing my Papa and just want to be in Castel Gandolfo hugging him. *tear* Praying for our next Pope! Holy Spirit, guide us!

I adore how you have your 7 Quick Takes set up on a daily basis instead of a list of 7! I might try that out next week. :) Thank you for wandering over to my blog today. :)

DeleteYou know, I had a strong urge to hug the Pope yesterday, too! I've always loved him, of course, but never felt an actual desire to hug him before.

I miss Papa Bene too. Fortunately, it appears he won't stop writing, so God please grant him a few more years for him to enrich our understanding.
